Urban One’s REPRESENT.™ Men’s Health Initiative Kicks-Off With Erica & Warryn Campbell

Urban One launched its new initiative, REPRESENT.™ Men’s Health, with a live watch party of TV One’s new docu-series, “We’re the Campbells,” on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.  The event was hosted at the City of Praise Family Ministries in Landover, Maryland, by Radio One’s D.C. market radio stations, Praise 104.1 and WMMJ 102.3/92.7.  Hundreds of fans turned out for the premiere, which featured a performance by Charles Butler & Trinity along with remarks from Urban One Chairperson, Cathy Hughes, and a Q & A with Erica and Warryn Campbell and TV One’s Sr. Director of Programming and Production, Tia Smith.  Radio One personalities, Cheryl Jackson (Praise 104.1), Madelyne Woods (MAJIC 102.3/92.7) and  Maurette Brown-Clark (Praise 106.1-Baltimore) served as emcees for the event, which is the first of several to be held in Radio One markets around the country.  “This is the kind of initiative that demonstrates the mission of Urban One to unapologetically REPRESENT. the black community and discuss issues that matter in and to our community,” said Chairperson, Cathy Hughes.  The REPRESENT.™ Men’s Health initiative provides information and resources about a variety of topics related to men’s health and runs June 17 – July 24, 2018.
